Technology Resources and Tools
Tools I have used...
SeeSaw- Portfolios allow a learner to view their own progression. Seesaw not only captures work, it also gives the teacher an opportunity to hear the student's thinking. With this transparency, the teacher can give the student targeted feedback to direct the student's learning. Here is an example of a student articulating a math process, merging her math concepts and Speaking skills together!
Read and Write- Allows students to access the text online or even on a Hyperdoc. Those students that have difficulty in reading, not have support and can continue to progress in comprehension, exploration and creating.
Vocaroo.com and Flipgrid- Both are free websites where students can record themselves. If a student has difficulty writing, these supports can support the writing process by allowing the student verbally express their response.
Equito- This Chrome Extension allows students will fine motor difficulty to voice type equations onto a Google Doc.
Google Draw- Teachers can create word sorts or Making Words lesson. Students can concentrate on building words and interacting with words with the trouble of cutting and loosing letters. Great tool that allows teachers and students to collaborate while brainstorming and thinking.
